Freida Pinto's Make-up

I was supposed to go to slumdog millionaire before I came to India, but alas, the cold got to me and my friend. I have been dying to go but will be gone by the time it releases here in India. So for now, I'll make do with a breakdown of Freida Pinto's make-up at one of her appearances. And someone please tell me the movie's worth the wait.

Recommended Products:

  • Aveda Inner Lights Tinted Moisture SPF 15
  • Make-up Forever Full Cover Concealor
  • Sally Hanssen
  • Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Sand Castle
  • Smashbox eyeshadow in Bliss
  • MAC eyeshadow in Shale
  • MAC eyeshadow in Brun for brows
  • HIP cream liner in Black
  • CoverGirl Lash Blast mascara
  • LORAC blush in Soul
  • MAC lipliner in Soar
  • MAC lipglass in Pop Mode
Apply tinted moisturizer with a sponge or a brush and blend well. Spot conceal where needed so that you get a flawless base. Set your make-up very lightly with powder so that the glow from your tinted moisturizer is still visible.

It's a very simple look without a lot of eyeshadow overload. So to keep your shadows as true to colour as possible, apply the Sandle Castle cream shadow as a primer.

Tweeze any stray hairs and dip a stiff brush into the Brun eyeshadow and emphasize your brows. Be careful to not make your brows too strong, you want them to be understated but defined.

Apply the Shale eyeshadow on your lid and blend upwards into the crease. Like I said, it's a very understated look.

Apply the Bliss eyeshadow to your brow bone and blend into the crease.

I know I promised a tutorial on tightlining and I swear I'll have it up asap. But until then, line eyes with the HIP cream liner. Make sure to keep the liner as close to the top lashes as possible and line the lower waterline.

Curl lashes and apply Lashblast generously to the top lashes. Then gently coat your lower lashes with a little mascara.

Apply the Soul blush on the apple of the cheek, concentrating most of your blush there. Then gently taper the blush towards the temple.

Line lips with the Soar lipliner and blend it into the lip. Finish off with Pop Mode lipglass.

Anu hope you are enjoying India! I love that you included the popmode lipglass it is pretty on deeper skintones (I'm a NC50-a personal fave) As for Slumdog...I have seen it 3 times and yes, it is worth your wait! Just hope you can catch it on the big screen.
