While I upload new pictures I thought I'd share another Vogue India/Verve scan. To me this is the quintessential desi look if I had to stereotype desi make-up preferences.
Shades of Bengal:
Make a strong statement with eyes fully done top and bottom. The wings meet and the look is completed with a pointed edge on the inside of the eye. For a variation, try using [an] electric-blue or [a] gold pencil to make a pointed edge at the inner corner of the eye. Recreate this look with: Bourjois Noir Beaux-Arts 21 Liner, M.A.C. Kohl Pencil 'Smolder,' Shaeyes Herbal Kohl.

Nice :o) Any recommendations on under-eye concealers that work well with brown skin? Otherwise I look as if I have panda-eyes :o\

3:58 PMI love the thick lower eye shadow but am afraid to try it. I just need to do it while around the house, that way I can get used to the look and feel comfortable wearing it out.
