Trendspotting: Tangerine Lips in Elle Magazine (Indian Edition Of Course)
Labels: Trendspotting 2 commentsI was browsing the internet once again, procrastinating and not finishing the essay that is slowly dissolving away what sanity I have left, when I found this trend in Elle India. I personally love bold lips and I don't go as neon as the model Elle has as their poster child for this trend, but a more subdued version, like NARS Heatwave, looks very glamorous and makes the trend much more wearable.

I really like the bright lipstick trend. The orange glosses I've tried have really made my skin look orange-y, so I have mixed feelings about the color, but I think that if you get the right shade for your skin it might be fun. And I agree that Heat Wave would be more wearable, since it's a little more red. Bright lipsticks are fun to try though since they are supposed to look fun and aren't supposed to be too serious.
