I Proudly Claim The Title of "Worst Public Speaker, Ever"

Hey ladies!
I am just updating to let you know that I'll have a bunch of things up tomorrow/this weekend. I have a presentation on Wednesday and as God/fate/life/luck/my big behind/anything else you can think of would have it, I am possibly a worse public speaker than George W. himself. Make-up will be my refuse and if not Depends will when I am in front of my class presenting.

hey i just wanted to post something i found recently so i will just paste it here. if you want you could post it. by the way im sarah

Step 1 Using your fingers, place a shimmery-pink cream eye shadow across the entire eyelid, going slightly upward, just past the crease.

Step 2 Highlight just under the brow bone with a sheer golden-yellow cream shadow, and gently blend, using your fingers. Be sure the pink at the eyelid and crease merges with the golden tone.

Step 3 With a pointed liner brush, apply deep brown liquid or cream eyeliner to all of the upper lids, following the lash line, in a thick swath.

Step 4 Use two coats of brown mascara on upper and lower lashes.

Step 5 Apply a silky, textured liquid foundation using a lightly moistened makeup sponge. The damp sponge will allow for a more translucent finish.

Step 6 Using a fat, soft powder brush, lightly powder the face with a loose, translucent powder.

Step 7 Apply a golden peachy blush to the cheekbone. After, you may want to dip your powder brush back into your translucent loose powder and apply it lightly over the blush. It will help blend out the blush, creating a more diffused look.

Step 8 Use a caramel-colored lip liner to slightly amplify the perimeter of the lips.

Step 9 Finish with a creamy-textured, honey-colored lipstick, applied carefully and evenly with a lipstick brush.

I also have information of some other celebrities but only from hollywood

Hi Anu,

I always have problem selecting the right foundation shade for desi skin. The counter ladies shade that they match are too dark. I have tried maybelline etc but without any luck.
Thanks!

hey saniya,
thanks for the support. and thanks for the update.

hey anonymous.
glad you like the threading tutorial. let me know if you have an suggestions for tutorials :).

hey sarah,
Thanks for that. I saw that on ivillage too a while ago and wasn't sure whether to post it or not. but you know what, if it's helpful i definitely will :)

Hey anonymous and ranjani,
i was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO nervous. i swear i HATE talking in front of people. i got so nervous. it was tough i admit lol. hopefully i'll get a decent grade. *hugs to both of you* thanks for the support.

Hey anonymous
about finding a good foundation for desi skin, i know a bunch of lines have great shades. Try bobbi brown, stila, mac, vincent logo, becca (i know a lot of ladies love this line), and make-up forever (i know a LOTTT of women love this too). if you want to try something in the drugstore, you could try looking at l'oreal since they have quite a big range. for mineral make-up, i really recommend alima. I don't use foundation except when i'm going to a REALLY dressy event (happens once every 7 years or so lol) and i like alima's mineral make-up for it. it bends seamlessly, applies like a drea, and alima has TONS of shades. you can also contact the customer service and they will help you find a shade. they can also mix shades to match your skintone.

Hey anonymous,
we're sisters on the skin-tone plane. i'm south indian and nc45 as well.:P cheesy i know, but really, who can pass up making cheesy jokes.

Regarding, the NC 45. You, she and me sistah! Another NC 45 here.

Now, the million dollar Q: What do you use as concealer against dark circles?

I'm glad the talk went well Anu! :)

Hey Black Cat, How goes your eternal concealer hunt? I recently tried Cle De Peu's concealer, and its worth trying. You can get a sample and see how you like it, I wouldn't reccomend buying it immediatly, because it'll set you back, quite a few $
I recently tried it, and while I'm not ttly in LOVE, it is really creamy, and satiny. Are you only trying to conceal dark circles, or other random blemishes?

Hey Anu, glad to know your speech went well:) am sure you'll get a good grade!

hee hee ..Thats cool Anu :) Now that I know we share the same skin tone, I can go ahead and purchase the blush colors you reviewed on your blog....yipeee!

Have you tried the bare minerals foundation? Do let me know your feedback on that.

Hey Black Cat!
I am right now trying out LRP's Active C eye cream. I will post on this as soon as I can evaluate it, but as for concealing, I don't do anything. However, like ranjani said, I've been dying to try out cle de peau's concealor.

Hey ranjani!
Thanks for the support. Tell us more about Cle de Peau's concealor. i've been tempted by this lately.

Hey anonymous!
as for the Bare Escentuals stuff, I'd REALLY recommend trying it in the store and walking around with it. I personally hated it with the fire of a thousand suns. It was so shimmery, flaked a bit on me (this was when my skin was very dry), and itched like mad. On top of that I got a few bumps. I really did not like it.
