No Mention of Beetroot, but Apparently Shilpa Shetty Likes Bare Escentuals

I was browsing around, again I need to control this obsession of mine, and I ran into this little scan of an excerpt from New! magazine on There is no mention of beetroot (see earlier post about Shilpa Shetty's rather ridiculous recommendation), but the article states that she seems to like Bare Escentuals. Enjoy!

ah- something about the powdery texture of Bare escentuals. I can see it when I stand close to a person wearing it. And I maintain decent distance when I stand close to a person.
Hey- I made a nice new discovery. Stila's oil free natural finish makeup. I know you dont do foudations, but you should try this the next time you go Sephora shopping. It's amazing. The shades (darker ones) are great for Indian skin. I use an 'f', and it makes the subtlest but most profound difference!
And try on Nars Victoire (Lipstain). The trends say red's in and this one's a nice non-vampy red with some brown in it. Looks great!

I actually owned this henna pen at some point. It's ok, doesn't come out sufficiently intense.

I think I might be a little bit too dark for the pen to show properly on me. I had to do at least 3 applications, which is tricky if you're trying to follow pre-exisiting lines. It lasted about 2 days. I prefer the actual crushed leaves though they can be messy. For some reason the leaves work better than any of the other stuff - including the extract that comes out from a nail polish like bottle, complete with little brush.

Hey 30 days!

I tried the Stila's oil free based on your love for it and, I have to say, I like it. I didn't get any irritation so far all day. The only other product that doesn't irritate my skin is maybelline pure foundation. I dont usually wear foundation, but I think it looks so polished, esp. for a night out. Will look into the Stila. Thanks so much for the rec.

Hey Black Cat!
OMG LOL, until your latest post below, i thought the henna pens thing was a kajal. Glad you told me.
